The Corruption of Father Markus

Father Markus was once a respected mentor and teacher at the monastic order where Garen, the celestial bound monk, had trained. Markus was a kind and wise man, who had dedicated his life to helping young monks achieve enlightenment. He had taken Garen under his wing, teaching him the ways of the elements and the path to inner peace.

But Markus's world was turned upside down when the monastic order was attacked and destroyed by raiders seeking the powerful Starfire crystals. Markus was left with a broken heart and a heavy guilt for not being able to protect his students.

In his grief, Markus began to hear whispers in his mind, voices of the damned that promised him power and a way to avenge his fallen brothers. He didn't know it at first, but these whispers were coming from a dark force that was manipulating him.

Markus's once pure heart and noble intentions started to become corrupted by the darkness that was slowly taking over him. He began to crave power, and he became obsessed with using the Starfire crystals to gain it.

He left the ruins of the monastery and ventured out into the world, seeking the crystals and power to avenge his fallen brothers. He became ruthless, not caring about the people who were hurt in his quest.
